01

Heuristic Review of the DVLA

In this project I wanted to see what worked well/what didn't work well with the GDS so that I could Geta foundation of how the service already worked when a user wants to apply for a licence/provisional.

02

As is Scenario Map

After reviewing the site I wanted to create a as is scenario map to see how a user would think/feel/what they're doing during each stage of the heuristic review. This helped me see what stage is supposed to occur and when.

Personas

I then created some personas of a diverse range of people to see how the service would work/effect these different demographics. this helped me start to think of how I can create the service so that it can work for everyones needs..

04

Empathy map

After creating these personas I wanted to create empathy maps to empathise and connect to the user as to how they feel when they use a service. What frustrates them, where is their thought process leading them.

05

User Need Statements

Through creating these empathy maps I can then take aspects of those empathy maps and create needs statements. These statements helped me create concrete needs from users to keep in mind when I improve a service.

Wireframes&Prototype

=With these designer tools. can now create wireframes and their prototypes based on the needs and the gains of users so that my service can work better than its previous design swell as allowing it to work to the best of its ability.
